1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files saved by your browser on your device. The website reads them on your next visit. Some are needed for the site to work at all, some are used to count visits, and some come from the companies whose services we use.
The controller of this website is Mirosław Postrożny, conducting business under the name Mirosław Postrożny cracow travel, Szczawa 325, 34-607 Szczawa, Poland, tax number (NIP) 7371438786, statistical number (REGON) 121813011, entered in the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity. 2. What this website uses
Necessary files
These are set by WordPress, the system this site runs on. They handle the session, the contact form and security. The site will not work properly without them, so they cannot be switched off from within the site.
Google Tag Manager and visit statistics
We use Google Tag Manager, which runs measurement scripts on the site. They serve to count visits and to see which pages are read. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Fonts
The typeface used on the site is downloaded from Google servers. When the font is downloaded, your IP address reaches Google.
Google Maps
On the locations page we show a Google map. Once it loads, Google may save its own files on your device.
reCAPTCHA
The contact form is protected against spam by Google reCAPTCHA. It analyses behaviour in the browser in order to tell a human from a robot.
Booking system
The booking button takes you to an external booking system, which runs under its own address and applies its own cookies and its own privacy policy. Please read it before you make a booking.
3. How to manage cookies
Every browser lets you check which files have been saved, delete them and block new ones. You will find the settings in the privacy section of your browser. Blocking the necessary files may stop parts of the site from working.
You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time.
Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all describe this in their help pages under the term “cookies”.
4. How long the files live
Session files disappear the moment you close the browser. Persistent files stay on your device for a period set by the provider, usually from a few months to two years, unless you delete them earlier.
5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
The Google tools described above may transfer data to Google LLC in the United States. Google declares participation in the Data Privacy Framework and applies standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. More information
We describe how we process personal data in our Privacy policy.
