These conditions apply from 21 September 2026
This document describes how a stay is booked with us, how payment and cancellation work and what applies in the apartment. The rules for using the website itself are described in our Website terms of use.
1. Who rents the apartments
The landlord is Mirosław Postrożny, conducting business under the name Mirosław Postrożny cracow travel, Szczawa 325, 34-607 Szczawa, Poland, tax number (NIP) 7371438786, statistical number (REGON) 121813011, entered in the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity, hereinafter the Landlord.

Guest means the person who makes the booking and every person staying with them in the apartment.
2. How to book
You make a booking in the booking system available on our website. You choose the dates, the apartment and the type of offer, give your contact details and the number of guests, and then confirm the booking with a button marked as carrying an obligation to pay.
You can also book by phone or by e-mail. We then agree the terms directly with you and send a confirmation to the e-mail address you give.
After you book we send a confirmation with the terms of the stay to your e-mail address. The rental agreement is concluded at the moment we receive payment in full.
3. Types of offer
- Refundable offer. You can cancel it free of charge no later than 5 days before the day of arrival.
- Non refundable offer. It is cheaper and is not refunded at any time.
You choose the type of offer when booking and it is stated in the confirmation.
4. Payment
You pay the full amount for the stay up front, at the moment of booking. You pay through the payment operator available in the booking system or by bank transfer to the account given in the booking confirmation.
The moment of payment is when the full amount is credited to our account or when the payment is correctly settled by the operator. Transfer costs are borne by the Guest.
Until we receive payment in full the booking remains unconfirmed. If payment does not arrive within the time stated in the confirmation, the booking expires.
5. What the price includes
The prices shown are final prices and include taxes, utilities, bed linen, towels and cleaning after the stay.
Additional services ordered by the Guest are paid separately, in particular cleaning during the stay and an extra change of bed linen and towels. We provide additional services once they have been ordered and paid for in advance.
6. Cancelling and changing a booking
You report a cancellation by e-mail to booking@cracow.travel.pl. What counts is the date your message reaches us.
- Refundable offer, cancelled no later than 5 days before the day of arrival. We return the whole amount paid within 14 days, to the account the payment came from.
- Refundable offer, cancelled later than 5 days before the day of arrival. The amount paid is not refunded.
- Non refundable offer. The amount paid is not refunded, whenever the cancellation is made.
- Not turning up on the day of arrival and shortening the stay count as a late cancellation and the payment is not refunded.
A change of dates or of apartment is agreed individually and is made only subject to availability. A change is not a right of the Guest.
If it is we who cannot honour a booking, we offer an apartment of comparable standard for the same dates, and where that is not possible we return the whole amount paid.
7. Right of withdrawal
Under art. 38 (12) of the Polish Act of 30 May 2014 on consumer rights, for contracts for accommodation for purposes other than residential, concluded for a specified date, a consumer has no right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days. Cancellation follows the rules described in section 6.
8. Arrival and departure
The stay runs from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival until 11:00 am on the day of departure.
Service is contactless. Before your arrival we send the door code and directions to the address given. Once you have the code you can enter the apartment at any hour, but not earlier than 3:00 pm on the day of arrival.
An earlier check in and a later check out are possible once agreed in advance and depend on the availability of the apartment.
9. House rules
- Only the number of people stated in the booking may stay in the apartment.
- The apartment serves accommodation purposes only. Subletting and making it available to third parties require our consent.
- Please keep the quiet hours that apply in the building and respect the peace of the neighbours.
- Smoking in the apartments and in the common areas of the building is forbidden, unless the house rules of a given building state otherwise.
- For fire safety reasons please take care when using electrical appliances, water and gas, and do not use your own heating devices. Computers, chargers, hairdryers and shavers are of course allowed.
- The house rules that apply in a given building form part of the terms of the stay.
10. Damage
The Guest is liable for damage caused in the apartment and to its equipment by themselves and by the people staying with them. Please tell us about any damage you find immediately after entering the apartment. A failure to report it may result in liability being attributed to the Guest. Damage arising during the stay is settled no later than on the day of departure.
11. Complaints
You make a complaint about a stay by e-mail to booking@cracow.travel.pl. Give the booking number, the dates of the stay and a description of the matter. We answer within 14 days. If something does not work during your stay, please contact us straight away, because then we can usually fix it on the spot.
12. Force majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform the contract caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, external failures or decisions of public authorities. In such a case we return the amount paid for the part of the stay that did not take place.
13. Personal data
We describe how we process personal data in our Privacy policy.
14. Final provisions
In matters not regulated here, Polish law applies, in particular the Civil Code and the Act on consumer rights. Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits consumer rights arising from mandatory provisions of law.
A consumer may use out of court ways of handling complaints and pursuing claims, including help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman and mediation at the provincial inspectorates of the Trade Inspection. Information is available at uokik.gov.pl.
