The tenement house at Kalwaryjska 12 stands in the heart of Podgórze, right by Podgórze Market Square. A few minutes on foot takes you to the Father Bernatek Footbridge, which leads straight into Kazimierz with its cafés and restaurants. On this side of the Vistula, the green Bednarski Park is perfect for a morning walk or a quiet break after sightseeing.
On the second floor, reached by traditional stairs with no lift, there are three studios for two. The windows face a courtyard. Each studio has air conditioning, a TV, wi-fi, a private bathroom with a shower and a small kitchenette with a fridge and an induction hob.
The building has code locks, so you check in on your own, at any time from 3:00 pm.

Apartments Podgorze: getting here
The tram stops right outside the building and takes about 8 minutes to the Main Square. From Kraków Główny railway station you can take a tram or a taxi. From Kraków Airport (Balice) the easiest option is the train to Kraków Główny, then a tram. Podgórze Market Square with St. Joseph’s Church, the Father Bernatek Footbridge and Kazimierz just across the Vistula. Oskar Schindler’s Enamel Factory and the MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art are a short walk away, and a little further is Krakus Mound with a view over the whole city. Local bakeries, shops and cafés cover everyday needs.
Who it’s for
Couples and solo travellers who want to stay close to the centre but in a calmer, less touristy neighbourhood. The kitchenette and iron also make it practical for longer business stays. The studios are on the second floor with no lift, so we don’t recommend them for guests with limited mobility.
